Christian Beliefs: Understanding the Core Beliefs of the Christian Faith

What are the really essential beliefs in the Christian faith? When you are studying a particular Bible passage, how do you fit it in with the teaching of the Bible as a whole? How do you explain things like the Trinity, predestination, angels and demons, or the end times? In this course we will survey the core Christian beliefs and provide a framework for understanding the teaching of the Bible as a whole.
The Story of Israel: An Introduction to OT History
Teaching Team: Quen Cheng, Katherine Fang, Mike Leong, Cindy Tam
This class is a survey of the Old Testament historical period. We will cover the overall history of Israel in the Old Testament period and touch on parallel events in the world, geography and the reliability of our sources in the process. This class aims to increase your understanding of and appreciation for the Old Testament, as well as provide a deeper background for reading the New Testament.
