Course Description
We all know that Christians are supposed to share the Gospel, but often we don’t know where to begin. This course will explore the challenges that we face in sharing our faith in an increasingly post-modern society and help equip you to bridge the gap with your non-Christian friends, including those who may not even be interested in the Christian faith.
Course Goals
- To provide a theological framework from which to understand evangelism, including the process of conversion and the need for addressing world view assumptions (intellectual).
- To give training in some specific techniques useful in sharing the Gospel, and provide opportunities to practice them outside of class (pragmatic).
- To instill a passion for sharing the Gospel and help alleviate the fears that many of us have associated with evangelism (affective).
- To help you commit to sharing the Gospel as part of your daily life (volitional).
