Course Description
God has created us each with a unique blend of personality, spiritual gifts, and life experiences. Since God is sovereign this is not a random outcome, but rather preparation for the specific role that He has in mind for each of us as a part of the Body of Christ. In this course you will discover God’s design and learn how to find your place in His kingdom plan.
Course Design
The first part of the course will be spent understanding your SHAPE (Spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experience). Then we will explore how to use your SHAPE as a tool to discover God’s purpose for your life and how to serve effectively in the niche that matches your design.
Teaching methods will include lecture, discussion, reading and personality and spiritual gift assessment tests. Toward the end of the course you will have the opportunity to have a one-on-one ministry consultation to help you find a ministry niche that matches your divine design.
Course Requirements
Group participation is an important part of this course, so you should make every effort to come consistently. There will be a short homework assignment each week. Completing the homework is essential to gaining the benefits of taking this course.
